The Civic Quest iPhone and iPad app keeps gameplay on your device. This page also explains how the studio website and support email work.

The iPhone and iPad app

We do not collect data from the Civic Quest app. The app has no account system, advertising, analytics, third-party tracking, cloud storage, or developer-operated network service.

Information stored on your device

Public builds store progress, answers, response timing, and written drafts locally so features such as mastery, review, and draft restoration work. TestFlight builds may additionally store tester ratings and playtest notes. This information is not linked to an identity or transmitted to us.

User-directed sharing

TestFlight builds may offer private playtest or legal-review report exports. If you choose one, Civic Quest opens Apple’s share sheet; you decide the destination and recipient. These tester controls are not shown in the public App Store configuration, and Some Mouse Studios does not receive a report unless you deliberately send it to us.

This website

Our website provider processes technical information, such as your IP address, browser details, and requested pages, to deliver and protect somemousestudios.com. Cloudflare sets a bot-protection cookie named __cf_bm. The studio website does not currently load advertising or separate analytics scripts.

Email support

If you contact us, we receive the email address and message you choose to send and use them to respond. Google Workspace delivers and stores company email. Please do not include confidential legal information in a support request.

Browser game

A separate browser version of Civic Quest is planned. It will publish its own privacy notice before launch; the iOS app practices above do not describe browser advertising.

Children and families

Civic Quest is intended for ages 16 and up and is not designated as a Kids Category app. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Data retention and deletion

Because data is stored locally, you control it on your device. In-app reset controls remove supported progress data; deleting the app removes its local app container according to Apple’s platform behavior. Reports you exported are controlled by the destination you selected.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page before introducing any feature that changes these practices and will update the App Store privacy disclosure when required.
